Ukulele tricks for guitarists

First let’s look at how the Ukulele relates to the guitar.

If you don’t know anything about the guitar or chords on a guitar no problem. Just watch and try to follow.

The Ukulele is tuned to the 4 thinnest strings of a guitar played on the fifth fret.

This is really interesting for guitarists because once you realise that the Ukulele corresponds to the 4 thinnest strings on a guitar you can use the guitar chord shapes that you know straight onto the Ukulele.

In the video we show a G shape guitar chord which is actually a C chord on the Ukulele and a D shape guitar chord which is actually a G chord on the Ukulele
