Playing your first song, 3 chord rotation C F G7

Now we are going to learn G7 because it works well with C and F. We are doing this so we can get straight into playing a song on the Ukulele. We’ll cover more chords and the theory in the next lessons.

Now to get that Hawaiian Ukulele feel we are going to use the 3 chords that we have already learnt C F G7 C

Lets try 2 strumming patters over these chords first down down down down. C F G7 You play these 4 beats 2 times for each chord then change.

Now try down up down up down up down up. Each strum here is twice as fast because you go down up 2 strums per beat.
