Lesson Six

Introduction

In this week’s lesson we will be working towards playing ‘The Grand Old Duke of York’. But don’t forget to look at Ziggys Top Tip!

Ziggy's Top Tip...

Fretting Hand Position

The wrist should be fairly straight and try to keep it nice and relaxed. It’s important to leave a gap between the palm of your hand and the bottom edge of the neck.

The thumb should be placed in the middle of the back of the neck. The thumb helps you to press your fingers on to the fret board.

Things to think about:

• The positioned of your wrist
• How your thumb is being placed on the back of the neck

So are you ready for this week’s exercise and tune?! But always think about Ziggys top tips!
