Minor Chords

In this lesson we work on more chords. Try working through these chords changing between each chord and then practice mixing these minor chords with the chords you’ve already learnt.

To make a minor chord we take the 1st b3rd 5th (b3rd means the you take the 3rd note of the scale and flatten it)

So for example Cmajor, the 1st=C 3rd=E 5th=G

For Cminor we flatten the 3rd so E becomes D#/Eb. The notes for Cminor are C D# G
